About the show
A finalist in the Ella Fitzgerald Jazz Competition in Washington D.C, singer Becky Alice was named as “one to discover” by UK Jazz News. Her soulful interpretations, creative scat singing and emotional storytelling breathe life into both well-known classics and her own originals with her first EP, released in 2025, featured on BBC Radio 3 and her latest release due later this year. Accompanied by Bruno Heinen-piano, Mikele Montolli-bass and Tim Sampson-drums expect jazz standards reimagined in a new light, original vocalese and some exciting new compositions.
