Two of Finland’s leading musicians, vocalist Annimaria Rinne and trumpeter Tero Saarti, are joined this evening by UK pianist David Gordon and his Trio for a programme they’ve titled “Nordic Blue”. Annimaria is equally at home in jazz, classical or folk music settings. Highly rated in her native Finland she has regularly received much critical acclaim for her poetic writing and consummate vocal performances. Tero’s fluent and melodic playing has been a
feature of the multi-Award winning UMO Helsinki Big band for over 30 years and has been heard with high profile bands in Finland and beyond. Pianist David Gordon, "a richly gifted player" Independent, is a leading light of the UK jazz scene. His performances and albums have been consistently well received, with his album ‘Alexander Scriabin's Ragtime Band' named MOJO's Jazz CD of the Year. The combination of these outstanding musicians with this unique programme promise to create an unforgettable musical evening.

A truly international trio led by classically-trained David Gordon who combines his jazz activities with harpsichord playing in the Baroque world. Daivd is joined by Oli Hayhurst on bass and Paul Cavaciuti on drums.
