Marathon, 1904 - Work In Progress
Award-winning New Zealand comedian Nic Sampson debuts an epic new show about one of the dumbest sporting events of all time.
On a blistering hot afternoon in August 1904, thirty two athletes representing four nations entered the third Olympic Marathon in St. Louis. Only fourteen finished. What happened in between was a perfect storm of abysmal organisation, unforgivable stupidity, brazen cheating, and rat poison.
This is a true story.
