2Northdown has launched it’s very own New Act Competition, kicking off this December, and you can apply now! The competition is open to all types of comedy acts, with sketch, character and alternative acts being encouraged to apply.

Contestants will compete in a heat, with the winners of the round progressing through to the finals. There will also be a wild card round for audience favourites we think deserve another shot!

Acts are scored on their writing; performance; star quality; originality and innovation. The comedians ranked highest by both the audience and the industry judges will progress to the next stage.
