Midsummer Music
A concert which brings together the three outstanding violinists of the Singh family with pianist Guillaume Mathias and Swansea Bach Choir, one of Wales' premier vocal ensembles, in the ancient church of St.Elli for a treat of choral classics, virtuoso pieces for violin and piano and popular folksong arrangements.
Some of the wonderful choral highlights being performed will include Hymn to St Cecilia (Britten), Miserere (Allegri), The Turtle Dove (Vaughan Williams), I Love my Love (Holst), A Boy and a Girl (Whitacre) and In Youth is Pleasure (Howells).
Premium tickets include pre-concert Reception and reserved seating which commences at 6:30pm. Pre concert reception includes a glass of wine and canapés with musical entertainment provided by the Rising Stars of Loud Applause in the historic setting of the restored Llanelly House.
Interval refreshments may also be purchased at Llanelly House.
