Snooker World Grand Prix

Created by World Snooker Chairman Barry Hearn, this new tournament will bring together 32 of the best players on the planet to compete for a top prize of £100,000.

The top 32 players on a one-year ranking system running from the 2014 World Championship to the 2015 Gdynia Open will qualify for the tournament.

The line-up has been confirmed. Five-time World Champion O'Sullivan will meet Rod Lawler in the evening session on the opening day of the tournament, Monday March 16th.

World Champion Selby meets Michael Holt on the same day, and Robertson takes on gifted Belgian potter Luca Brecel.

On Tuesday March 17th, the stand-out ties include Murphy facing Peter Ebdon in a battle of two former World Champions, while Trump is up against Dominic Dale and Ricky Walden meets Chinese ace Ding Junhui.
