National Museums Liverpool is joining forces with the University of Liverpool’s Victoria Gallery & Museum to present displays across three venues entitled ‘Unsung – Liverpool’s Most Radical Son.’ These displays will highlight Rushton’s key achievements using writings, pictures and artifacts from his life.

The Museum of Liverpool, International Slavery Museum and the Victoria Gallery and Museum will celebrate the life of Edward Rushton (1756 – 1814) fighting for human rights and social justice which has remained largely unknown for 200 hundred years.
