Drums Along The Mersey featuring 5th Beatle Pete Best, which takes an affectionate look at the role of his mother Mona as the Godmother of Merseybeat, is to be staged in this year’s Ticket to Write Beatles-themed play festival. It is written by Peter Harrison.

It is partnered with Shake It Up Baby a powerful yet moving story of a passionate Beatles-fan who gets more than she bargained for when seeks romance on the internet. This is written by Suzan Holder.

Francesca Goodridge, who graduated from LIPA in two years ago, is the Artistic Director and Guest Director will be Sarah Gallegos, a recent graduate from LIPA.
