The Brink was first performed to an invited audience of Healthcare Professionals during 'Mental Health Awareness Month' in May 2016, where it received a standing ovation. A powerful and moving show starring actress Leanne Martin (Broken Biscuits, More Scouse Saddam) and Daniel Taylor (Blood Brothers, The Tommy Cooper Show, Through a Glass Onion, Down the Dock Road) it explores the journey of first-time parents, Holly and Mark, as they deal with the impact and consequences of severe postnatal illness.

The play features original music by Daniel Taylor and is based on first- hand experience of postnatal illness, as well as interviews with those who have been effected.
