Transformation

A ground-breaking new exhibition at the Walker Art Gallery tells the story of Peter Farrer, a Liverpool-based man who has been cross-dressing since he was 14.

Sixteen garments from Peter's collection of historic and modern clothes will feature in Transformation, opening on 24 October. Peter’s interest in women’s period costume has led to his vast collection of garments, particularly evening dresses made between the 1930s and the 1980s.
