Once & Future Band

A highlight of Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia 2017, Once & Future Band return to Merseyside in March. Signed to fêted US underground label Castle Face Records (Ty Seagall, Thee Oh Sees), the Californian quartet create sumptuous prog-pop with elements of spiraling psychedelia.

The group’s eponymous 2017 debut album won warm praise with its lead single How Does It Make You Feel? lauded by Stereogum as ‘lushly orchestrated... with shades of ELO in its sheer melody-bomb hookiness’. Combining The Beach Boys’ harmonies, Pink Floyd’s expansiveness and Steely Dan’s songcraft, Echoes & Dust stated ‘Very rarely a band comes along which stops you in your tracks.
