Heading to Liverpool for their first headline gig in the city, hotly tipped Glaswegian Indie crew Catholic Action continue their ascent as one of the most acclaimed new UK bands.

Inspired by the classic alt-rock of Teenage Fanclub, Belle & Sebastian, Pavement and Blur, the quartet found instant favour with BBC Radio 1, who added the group to their One Big Weekend event and SXSW with BBC Introducing. Catholic Action's debut LP In Memory OF was released in October 2017 to a warm reception, following a series of attentin grabbing singles and stellar live shows, including a five-star review from The Skinny for their show at iconic Glasgow venue King Tut's.

Signed to rising Liverpool label Modern Sky (Sugarmen, Slow Readers Club, Fuss, Pixey), The Merseyside connection continues through early recording sessions with acclaimed solo artist / producer Bill Ryder-Jones.
