The Spooky Men's Chorale + Lucy Wise
Following their triumphant UK tours The Spooky Men's Chorale will leave their native New South Wales to embark on their fourth tour of the UK when they will regale Spooky veterans and virgins alike with rib-tickling (sometimes heart-rending) original compositions and eloquent arrangements by the inspired antipodean choral impresario, Stephen Taberner.
Compellingly comic they may be but this is a class act. Pitch perfect harmonies, theatrical delivery, savvy lyrics, imaginations that run riot and men who really can multi-task!
Hits including a hilarious spoof of Queen’s Flash and Earth, Wind & Fire’s Boogie Wonderland and the funniest version of Abba’s Dancing Queen your ears are likely to hear.

Genial buffoonery and immaculate, testosterone drenched vocals define the Spooky Men's Chorale, a ruthless bunch of larrikins based in the Blue Mountains of Australia. With a sound as warm and grainy as a slab of teak, the Spooky Men give equally loving attention to ancient Georgian table songs, tawdry anthems like Don't Stand Between a Man and his Tool, and the odd ballad of terrifying beauty.
The repertoire is largely inspired by the pointless grandeur of everyday maleness, in the shower, in the shed and after breakfast. Stage presence is imposing, black and foolishly statuesque, with a cunning taste in hats. Their studied deadpan is no act: like most blokes, they've only got the faintest idea of what's going on...
