L'Orchestra dell'Arte, Pietro Fresa

St George's Hall Sunday Matinée Concert series returns to the Concert Room on 17th September for a very special event in conjunction with Unesco.

Todays featured composers, Beethoven and Schubert, spent much of their lives working in Vienna. The soloist Pietro Fresa, is from Bologna, Italy. Both Bologna and Liverpool are justifiably proud to have been awarded the title of Unesco Creative Cities of Music and this inaugural classical concert opens the soloist exchange scheme in St George's Hall.

Pietro will be playing Beethoven, the Piano Concerto No 3 with Orchestra dell'Arte, in a concert which also includes the Coriolan Overture and Schubert's melodious Symphony No 2.
