Speakeasy Bootleg Band

On Sat 11th July, Speakeasy Bootleg Band comes hurtling back in to Peter Kavanagh's for another helping of the Finest Quality Bootleg Music Since Records Began. This pub is quirky beyond belief, with a multiplicity of items hanging from the ceiling, carved wood panelled walls with original fixed seating and above are original paintings by Eric Robinson (a Scottish artist) that date back to 1929, with many wood carvings etc, said to have been done by the craftsmen working on the Anglican Cathedral. The unique tables with built in ashtrays were designed by PK himself, and copied for use on the Lusitania, with stained glass windows by the man who installed those in Worcester Cathedral... then they let Speakeasy Bootleg Band in... We kick off about 9:30pm, and play until the beer runs out, sanity prevails or collective nervous collapse sets in... whichever comes first.
