A Gig For Simon

This will be an eclectic mix of rock music, spoken word, comedy and acappella singing all in memory of Simon Sherry.

Simon was a talented musician whose work will feature across the evening, as headliner Ian Loughran revisits pieces that he and Simon used to play together in a band as teenagers.

Ian will also debut a piece written about Simon especially for tonight. Recordings of Simon's own band Midnight Snack will be played throughout the evening too.

Ian Loughran is a comedian and spoken word poet who is renowned in his adopted homelands of Australia and New Zealand. Ian has only recently learned of Simon's death, and instantly offered to put on a benefit to help The Eye Fund raise even more money.

Vocal Infinity is a contemporary acapella group, that features Simon's sister Helen amongst the bass section. They are thrilled to be able to kick start this evenings event!
