Uppstar have been eagerly waiting to announce the show that shall bring their first season to a close - and they are doing it in style with their biggest lineup to date...
On Saturday 12th May, Uppstar return to their adoptive home on the docks - North Shore Troubadour to bring to you none other than Jeremy Olander in what will be his first ever headline set in Liverpool.
Since bursting onto the scene in 2011, DJ, producer and label owner Jeremy Olander has been on an incredible journey. Being described as the saviour of the true progressive style once made famous by Sasha and John Digweed. His deep, infectious and atmospheric productions have resurrected the genre, receiving the stamp of approval from the forefathers mentioned above, as well as Henry Saiz, Guy J, Pete Tong, Davide Squillace and Dubfire to name a few.
Olander got his start eight years ago on Eric Prydz's Pryda Friends imprint. He went on to put out an unprecedented seven releases with Prydz. In the last three years, the now 30-year-old has kicked his career into next gear. Almost reemerging as a born again artists after finishing his formative years at Pryda.
Olander has since appeared on several noteworthy and influential labels including: Suara, microCastle, John Digweed's imprint Bedrock, his self-founded label Vivrant, as well as recently debuting on the legendary Anjunadeep with his 'Crossed' EP.
With a touring schedule that is always jam-packed Uppstar are extremely priveliged to bring such a talent to the city for a set that shall be truly one to remember.
Alongside Olander; returning to Uppstar Live now as official residents, is Mia Mendi (Suah/Rhetorical) who are set to have a massive 2018 themselves with countless shows scheduled – those who have attended before know to expect nothing less from these boys who always supply a mesmerizing set.
In addition they have their very own resident duo Seeba (Uppstar) kicking things off from early doors.
