Mugstar

A rare opportunity to see Ad Marginem with a live performance of the score by Liverpool's own Mugstar, who, in collaboration with film-maker Liam Yates, wrote, directed and acted in the the film.

Filmed around the coasts of Merseyside, Ad Marginem is a meditation on isolation and loss. In keeping with the expressionist-influenced black and white cinematography, Mugstar provide an darkly atmospheric soundtrack, though not without moments of violent release.
