Berlin - Symphony Of A Metropolis

Walter Ruttmann’s 1927 film Berlin: Symphony of a Metropolis forms the backdrop to an exciting new collaborative effort between the University of Liverpool, FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

Four postgraduate composers from the Department of Music are collaboratively writing a film score to accompany Ruttmann’s classic silent film.

This score will be performed live with the help of musicians from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in FACT’s venue, Theatre 3.
