Kathak is an ancient dance form characterised by dazzling footwork, complex rhythms and graceful flowing movements, a style often traced back as the source of the flamenco tradition. Parbati is the winner of the 2015 Yuva Nritya Ratna Award (Young Dancer of the Year), a national award that identifies her as one of the best young dancers in England.

Swati Dance Company’s Pancham is a new production commissioned by Milapfest and stars young dancers of the North West, choreography by Harikrishnan and Swati Raut.
