North Yorkshire's Badapple Theatre's hard working, hard travelling 'Doorstep Theatre' troupe are back on the road again this month with a fourth and final reprise of their hugely successful production from last year, 'Back To The Land Girls'.

Writer & director Kate Bramley evokes the essence of wartime rural life with her comedy of life-on-the-land for a pair of young female townies with high hopes for their future. Their fun-filled adventures are based on Kate's own convivial conversations with some real-life Land Girls who are still living in the county, and who were keen to share their memories from that time of hardship and determination.

The play captures the flavour of the times with a wealth of musical interludes as the story unfolds to reveal two characters with the same aspirations and dreams shared by modern-day young women.

Sell-out audiences nationally were enthralled with last year's production, and Badapple have been encouraged to venture farther afield this time around.
