Piatti String Quartet

A lovely recital by one of the country's foremost young string quartets. The Piatti were runners-up in the International String Quartet Competition in London earlier this year. During that competition, their performance of Dvorak's Quartet in G major Op. 106 was highly praised and they will conclude their concert in Amersham with this work. The programme also includes Ravel's Quartet in F major and Webern's emotionally charged piece 'Langsamersatz'.
