Martin Roberts had a 30-year legal career before coming a Postgraduate Medieval Studies Student at the University of Lincoln and describes himself as a 'Middle-Aged Medievalist'. Today he presents a talk on Medieval Material Culture and what it reveals to us about people's aspirations for both life and after life at that time.
