Advent Carol Service

Advent (from the Latin adventus) marks the two-fold coming of Christ - both his birth in Bethlehem and his second coming, still awaited. The service begins at the west end of the Cathedral and processes to the Angel Choir, passing through St Hugh's Choir, where we hear of two ways in which we encounter Christ today: in the sacraments of baptism and the eucharist.
