Jacqueline White, Clive Matthews

Soprano Jacqueline White and pianist Clive Matthews began working together in 2011 after discovering a shared love for Francis Poulenc’s music.

Their recital programme this evening, marking to the day the 50th anniversary of his death, is entirely devoted to his music and is presented with a commentary that places the programmed music in the context of his other major works and his life in general.
