Artist of the Year' at the 2014 British Blues Awards. In 2014 the Laurence Jones Band also won the final of the first UK European Blues Challenge to represent the UK against every country in Europe.

His debut album Thunder in the Sky, recorded at the legendary Dockside Studio in Louisiana, features blues superstar Walter Trout. Get Ready to Rock magazine gave the album a five star rating.

He has just recorded his highly anticipated second album Blues & Soul. Laurence Jones is just 22 years old and is already making a big name for himself. His influences include Walter Trout, Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, Rory Gallagher, and Albert Collins.

2015 will be a busy year for the band, already announcing 180 shows worldwide. The band have also been invited to perform at The Royal Albert Hall along with Van Morrison, Paul Jones and Jools Holland for a special night of Led Belly music.
