Fret And Fiddle

Salene Minchin's Fret and Fiddle make a welcome return to Lichfield Guildhall to round-off their 2015 tour. Virtuoso Salene is one of the most glamorous and exciting Jazz Violinists playing in the U.K today. She carries the Grappelli flame high, playing fiery Swing fiddle tunes, Jazz and the top hits of Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hart, George Gershwin and Hoagy Carmichael along with Grappelli's own songs.

Classically trained at Birmingham Conservatoire, she also trained in Baroque violin and has played with Classical ensembles such as CBSO, The English Symphony Orchestra, Longborough Festival Opera, Mid-Wales Opera and Orchestra da Camera. Now a quartet Fret and Fiddle have performed at many concert halls and have shared stages with members of E.L.O, Eric Clapton, Gong, and many others.
