4 Parts Guitar

Four of the most critically guitarists in the country will make a more than welcome return to Lichfield Guildhall when 4 parts guitar appear on April 10th.

Gordon Giltrap, John Etheridge, Ray Burley and Clive Carroll are well regarded for their way with a guitar, and all have very successful playing and recording careers, having worked alongside such musical luminaries as Cliff Richard, Stephane Grappelli, The Soft Machine, John Williams, Yehudi Menuhin, Dizzie Gillespie, Nigel Kennedy, Pat Metheny, Barney Kessell, and Rick Wakeman, as well as winning many awards for musicianship, performing and composing.

Lichfield Arts Vice-President Stuart Davies said: 'This will be a great night of fine music for fans of the guitar in all its shapes and forms, from jazz to classical, from folk to ambient, if you like the sounds of the six string, this is an evening for you.
