Celebrating 500 years of English Sacred Music.

Marking the 500th Anniversary of the birth of John Sheppard, draw on the wealth of a cappella English choral music from 1515 to the present.

Starting from Sheppard’s monumental Media Vita, the afternoon includes music by other renaissance masters Byrd, Tallis and Gibbons before moving forward through Purcell, Stanford and Harris to Gabriel Jackson and Roxanna Panufnik.
