With its stunning stained glass windows, the church at Little Newcastle is suffused with a jewel-like glow during the day. It’s a wonderful setting for this recital by rising young star, Tamsin Waley-Cohen.
She performs one of the pinnacles of the violin repertoire, Bach’s Partita and the work it inspired – Bartók’s sonata, written for and premiered by Yehudi Menuhin.
The concert is followed by a buffet lunch at Little Newcastle Old School which is optional but must be booked in advance.
