The Same Faces, Karen Bayley

The Same Faces are one of the Midlands leading improvised comedy groups, and are based here in Leicester. The team features regular members Tom Young, Allan Smith, and Dave Gotheridge, with a vast roster of guest players from which to complete each show’s line up.

In an Armando, a single word taken from the audience inspires a monologist to tell us something about their life, based on that suggestion. This monologue, in turn, becomes the basis for three different scenes from the improv players. A single word can produce three different worlds in a matter of minutes!

Using the Armando structure, each month we’ll have a comedian, storyteller, poet, or person of interest along to tell stories from their lives, to inspire the players to create brilliant, entirely improvised scenes, before your very eyes!
