Stand Up For Refugees Comedy Night
An evening of comedy in aid of Leicester City of Sanctuary, featuring top comedian Shazia Mirza and, with his acclaimed one-man show Old Jewish Jokes, Ivor Dembina.
City of Sanctuary is a national movement with nearly 40 groups which are committed to developing a culture of welcome and inclusion for people seeking sanctuary in the UK.
The aim is to create a network of places throughout the country which do their best to include asylum seekers and refugees in the lives of their communities.
