National Youth Dance Company bring their latest production to the Curve, created by 2016-2017 Guest Artistic Director Damien Jalet. NYDC has established a reputation for producing performances with a range of dancers who are expressive, brave and shaping the future of dance in this country.
This new commission sees Jalet and the company of 40 young dancers present a unique piece of theatre which addresses themes of melancholia, ritual, control and abandon. Jalet’s revered choreographic style combined with the young dancers’ energy and talent is set to produce a mesmerising experience that shifts the consciousness of the audience.
