Inter_rupted
Following last year’s collaboration with Aakash Odedra on the world premiere of Echoes, celebrated Kathak icon Aditi Mangaldas returns to Leicester with her new dance piece, Inter_rupted.
Seven dancers including Mangaldas are joined by three musicians for this startlingly rich and intricate piece that imaginatively infuses the ancient art form kathak with 21st-century sound, rhythm and light.
Aditi has consistently broken ground with her visionary merging of classical and contemporary Indian dance styles, so don’t miss your chance to see this stunning new creation.
