The Danse Society Featuring Paul Gilmartin

The Danse Society Featuring Paul Gilmartin appearing at this event

Featuring original and founder member of The Danse Society, Paul Gilmartin (Gigi), on drums. His distinctive style and rhythms have been the influences for many musicians since the '80s. Vocalist Brian Shaugnessy is a well known and respected performer best recognised for his rock vocals. He brings a powerful, clear and evocative performance to both old and new material. A classic voice surrounded by awesome sounds making lush, dark, inspiring music. Guitarist Elliot Wheeler is a long time Danse Society fan and accomplished musician. The distinctive effected guitar sounds of TDS are brought bang up to date with a new and talented performer who lends innovation as well as faithful adherence to the original sound. Ade Clark on bass grew up under the influence of 1970s Punk Rock, and has played in a variety of post punk/alternative bands, most notably Western Dance in the 1980s to his other current plaything - IdiotBox. Keyboardist Darran Guy is a Sheffield based musician who gigs extensively with DURAN, probably the best Duran Duran tribute out there and is the most recent addition to the line up.

Cauda Pavonis

Cauda Pavonis appearing at this event

Self-described 'dark romantics', Su, Dave, Chris ad Steve are far more then just another goth band. Inventive drum rhythms and a true flair for the theatrical merge with Su's luscious, rich vocals to lure you into a garden of dark fantasy. They are described musically as everything from Deathrock and Post Punk to Steampunk and Goth Rock.
