Jayde Adams

Originally from Bristol, Jayde Adams is an award-winning comedian, as well as a cabaret performer, MC, all dancing, all opera singing, ex fish mongering West Country woman. She has performed all over the UK, including 10 years of Freestyle Disco Dancing competitions up and down the country, and has traveled internationally with her ‘barnstorming’ performances.

In 2014, she was named winner of the Funny Women Awards and she received the London Cabaret Audience Award in 2013. She has been nominated for prestigious Edinburgh Fringe awards, including Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer in 2016 and Chortle Best Newcomer in 2017.

In December 2015, Adams made her TV acting debut in Russell Howard’s ‘A Gert Lush Christmas.’ In October 2016, Sky Arts released Adams’ Halloween Comedy Short, ‘Bloody Tracy’, written by and starring Adams and featuring Spencer Jones and Gabby Best. She has also appeared on 8 Out of 10 Cats.

Tim Renkow

Hailing from Memphis Tennessee, Tim Renkow has a unique viewpoint as an American immigrant living in the UK. He is brutally honest, shockingly sharp and encompasses a cuttingly dark yet somehow cheerful sense of humour, no subject is off limits for Tim.

On arrival in the UK, Tim quickly made a name for himself storming the festivals and winning Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Award, the prestigious Amused Moose Laugh Off Award and a nomination for Best Newcomer at the Chortle Awards. He has also been awarded severe Cerebral Palsy, by God.

Like a paraplegic on a hill with no breaks, Tim did not slow down, but went on to have two critically acclaimed Edinburgh shows, starred on NBC’s Before the Night After, BBC’s Fresh from the Fringe and has written for ITV’s Off Their Rockers.

In an exciting and brave move from the BBC, Tim will be gracing our screens this summer as the writer and star of the very brilliant sitcom A Brief History of Tim for BBC3 Comedy. HIS 2016 Edinburgh show ‘King of the Tramps’!! Was awarded 5 stars and critical acclaim. Expect great things from this shoeless tornado of comedy.

The Small Print

You can find us on Farsley Town Street next to the Post Office.

The Constitutional is a members club, with events open to members and guests only. Membership costs £1 per year.

We advise that our comedy events are suitable for ages 15+ only. Acts may use strong language and explore mature themes.

Access - There are currently two small steps at the entrance to the club, which is on the ground floor of a historic building. We are currently in the process of purchasing a ramp to allow wheelchair access and will update this listing once it is in place. We have no hearing loop at this time. Guide dogs welcome.
