The trio is a project band led by the award-winning spanish pianist and composer Victor Gutierrez.

Created in 2014, its members are some of the most sought-after musicians in the Yorkshire scene. The band aims to contribute to the long piano trio tradition by bringing fresh and contemporary arrangements of standards from the Grat American Songbook, as well as paying tribute to some of the most famous piano trios in history, like Bill Evans, Kenny Barron, Keith Jarrett, Brad Mehldau or Michel Petrucciani trios.
