Telling Tales
Northern Accent presents award-winning poet Patience Agbabi in Telling Tales. The author of four books, her latest, Telling Tales is a vivid retelling of Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales for the 21st century. Following a launch at Southwark Cathedral, Patience has toured the book around the UK.
Patience Agbabi
Performance poet and lecturer, born in London in 1965 to Nigerian parents, and whose debut poetry collection won the 1997 Excelle Literary Award.
