LUV presents 'Chinese Jazz and Funk: A Fundraising Concert for the British Heart Foundation'.

Chinese musician Jon Shen will bring his music to the UK, performing with six musicians who are in Leeds.

Jon Shen has been acclaimed as the "vocal player" by Grammy jazz artist Patrice Rushen, and he was the first Chinese musician to obtain a Masters Degree in Contemporary Performance on the vocal programme at Berklee College of Music.

As a Chinese Jazz and Soul-Funk musician, he travelled around Europe, America and the Oriental world to gather musical ideas from different backgrounds, and explored ways of fusing Oriental elements with western Jazz and Soul-Funk styles.
