Alistair Adair Band, Hamstead / Cliffe Quintet, Simon Henry Trio

The second showcase featuring three bands from the current crop of LCM student musicians.

• Alistair Adair Band - Dylan Owen on Tenor , Alistair Adair on alto, Chris Bland on keys, Tamo Harewood on Bass, Ollie Goss on Drums. A band set to challenge themselves with intense charts influenced by the likes of David Binney, Stefano Di Battista, Brian Blade, Rosario Giuliani and others in this vain.

• Hamstead/Cliffe Quintet - Sam Hamstead - Tenor Sax, Matt Cliffe - Alto Sax, Joe Simmons - Guitar, Elliot Roffe - Bass, Simon Henry – Drums. Tutored by Saxophonist Rob Mitchell at LCM looking at classic and modern hard bop from Art Blakey to Eric Alexander.

• Simon Henry Trio - Drummer Simon Henry channeling the spirits of Charlie Persip and Philly Joe, with back up Joe Simmons (guitar) and Elliot Roffe (Double Bass)
