Firebird Quartet

This is a Seven Jazz Unplugged gig.

Contemporary jazz, funky grooves and their own take on jazz standards.

Musically they’re influenced by people like Terence Blanchard, Kendrick Scott, Christian Scott, Roy Hargrove, Dean Taba and Wynton Marsalis. In addition, they perform a number of original compositions in a range of styles from driving swing to grooves with a hint of hip hop.

They create music with sufficient complexity to appeal to a contemporary jazz listener while still being accessible to a broader audience.
