Leeds International Concert Season: Best Of Brass
Under the baton of Musical Director David Roberts, the Rothwell Temperance Band will perform Sondheim’s lively Comedy Tonight from the musical A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Gershwin's jazz-inspired An American In Paris and Fahy's Irish air Magh Seola featuring a flugel horn solo by Vikki Holland.
The band will also perform Lovatt-Cooper's vibrant and reflective Fire in the Blood, Shaw’s stunning Guardian of my Soul, Brubeck's jazz standard Blue Rondo a la Turk and Himes’ Jubilance featuring a cornet solo by Tim Hammond.
