Leeds International Concert Season: Best Of Brass
Under the baton of Principal Conductor and Director of Music Dr Robert Childs, Grimethorpe Colliery Band will perform music from the 1996 film Brassed Off, featuring Rossini’s lively Finale from William Tell, Hall’s popular march Death or Glory and the traditional Irish ballad Danny Boy.
The band will also perform Berlin’s iconic Let’s Face the Music and Dance, Elgar’s stunning Nimrod and Sherwin’s A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square, featuring a trombone solo by Chris Gomersall.
