Taking place in heart of Leeds for the 4th year in a row, SAA-UK’s Summer Solstice Festival is an unforgettable experience where Internationally acclaimed artists of Indian classical music gather to share music of the mind, body and soul, deeply imbedded in R?gs of the sunset, night, dawn and sunrise.

We kick start the evening with one UK’s finest young violinists of Carnatic music Dr. Achuthan Sripathmanathan and his fellow musicians. Deepa Nair returns to Leeds with her soul searching voice for late night raag before Pandit Sanju Sahai takes on the midnight hour with his incredible finesse and dexterity through the language of Tabla. Mehboob Nadeem will play sitar in the very early hours illuminating the irresistible birth of a new day, effortlessly followed by the call for dawn by the amazing flute of Rakesh Chaurasia and formidable tabla of Bhupinder Singh Chaggar.

Desi Chai and Coffee will be on tap and a home cooked vegetarian snacks and meal for no more than £3.50 a plate.
