The Tales Of Grimm Woods Presents The Night Of The Krampus

Sneaky Experience is transforming the rooms below Leeds Town Hall into a living storybook, inspired by the tales of the Brothers Grimm.

With performances tailored for young and old, each show will take the audience on a magical tour around the hidden depths of the Town Hall and the wonderful woods, which have sprouted in the crypt.

As well as the shows there’ll be a pop up bar in the Victorian Prison cells concealed beneath the steps of Leeds most famous building.

Step out of the bright lights of the city centre and join for a unique festive offering: Fairy stories and festive hot drinks in the daytime, twisted tales and cocktails at night.

As night falls, Sneaky brings to life a darker side of the Christmas story with a twisted alternative to festive fun.

The Krampus is the wicked counterpart to Father Christmas punishing those who do evil – and he’s hiding out in the woods below Leeds Town Hall.

Follow Red Riding Hood into the forest as she is dragged into the dark celebrations of the Krampusnacht. The evil spirit is on the loose destroying the stories stored in the crypt; can the heroine restore the tales before they are lost forever?

With gruesome clues to discover along the path to the woods, audiences will be led through the basement corridors and Victorian prison cells hidden beneath Leeds Town Hall.

These twisted evening shows delve into the darker side of the Brothers Grimm; they are not bedtime stories for children. In this late night version Red Riding Hood hides behind her cape, witches are truly wicked and Rapunzel will let down her hair for anyone.

This Performance will last around 45 minutes; the bar will be open after serving mulled wine, craft ales and cocktails.
