Australian violinist Emily Sun is rapidly gaining international recognition as a rising soloist. Emily made her concerto debut with the East-West Philharmonic Orchestra at age ten, and has since been a regular soloist with the Sydney, Melbourne, Tasmanian, Queensland and Canberra Symphony Orchestras and the Australian Chamber Orchestra.
During her studies Emily won numerous prizes at the Royal College of Music including the Violin Competition 2012 and Concerto Competition 2015. She recently performed the Bach Double Violin Concerto with Maxim Vengerov in the 2017 Royal Gala, hosted by His Royal Highness Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace.
Jennifer Hughes studied with Hilary Coates as a DfES Scholar at Wells Cathedral School and completed her master’s at the Royal College of Music in 2012 where she was a Drapers’ Company Scholar studying with John Blakely and Roger Vignoles. Jennifer is now much in demand as an instrumental duo partner and song pianist. She has performed across the UK and internationally at venues including the Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, Bridgewater Hall, Oslo Opera House, St James’ Piccadilly.
