How To Put On 1Xtra Live!

Leeds Beckett University are pleased to bring this fantastic event in the run up to BBC Radio 1Xtra Live at Leeds Arena.

This talk is open to anyone and will take place in the James Graham building, on Leeds Beckett University's Becketts Park campus.

Members of the Popular Music Live Events Team that covers Radio 1, 1Xtra, Radio 2, 6Music and BBC Introducing will talk about and answer questions on:

* Why do we do 1Xtra Live
* The importance of it
* What it does for our station/the industry
* Why we tour it
* The timescale/process
* Who is involved
* The challenges of producing an event/radio/tv show at the same time
* The artists involved
* The show and design process
* Risks involved
* Outreach
