Delve into the labyrinth of your imagination and enter the magical world of Fairies and Goblins.

With performances tailored for young and old, the fairy, goblin experience will take you on a magical tour throughout the ruins of Kirkstall Abbey where you’ll uncover the secrets of the fairy folk of old.

The Kirkstall fairies and goblins have been around as long as time itself. Once a year when the moon is in its seventh shade they become visible to the human eye for just 2 days and this year have invited you to their home to meet them.

Discover the history of the Kirkstall Fairies and Goblins at the fun packed weekend filled with craft activities, storytelling with resident wizard and short interactive performances.

Follow the fairy trail around the Abbey and meet all your favourite characters including Peter Pan, Tinkerbell and the Gnomes of the North along the way.

In Goblin Kingdom you can try your hand at puppet making, watch Goblin puppet shows and join in the celebratory puppet procession.

Activities include interactive theatre and dance performances, a wandering fairy show and in the crafts area you can make paper fairies and garden homes.

The event will last around 1 and a half hours; the bar will be open after serving coffees, pastries and and soft drinks.
