Embrace

Embrace appearing at this event

Brothers Danny and Richard McNamara, the forces behind West Yorkshire's Embrace, once achieved Indie anthems of epic Coldplay proportions (who actually supported Embrace early in their career!). From stadium classics like the top ten hits 'All You Good Good People' and 'Come Back To What You Know' to their three number one albums, sold out arena shows and well over a million album sales behind them, Embrace were on the crest of a wave when they suddenly vanished without a trace. They returned some eight years later with the eponymous 'Embrace', offering a rawer, darker sound, whilst still maintaining their signature big anthems and huge choruses and came back in 2018 with their album; 'Love Is A Basic Need'.

Ocean Colour Scene

Ocean Colour Scene appearing at this event

90's indie rock-pop band whose Sixties retro sound, coupled with their obvious individual talents and collective knack of reaching the heart and soul of the nation's music buying public, has certainly paid off. Their back catalogue includes an impressive seventeen Top 40 singles including 'The Riverboat Song' which became the walk-on music for Chris Evans on the popular Channel 4 series TFI Friday.

Ash

Ash appearing at this event

Northern Ireland's favourite sons who hit the big time with their massive debut album '1977'. As part of the mid-nineties Britpop phenomenon, Ash always stood out as the rebels of the genre, making grungy post-rock and anthemic indie, which, to this day, has gained them rave reviews and a strong and loyal following.

Sleeper

Sleeper appearing at this event

After 19 years away, Britpop band Sleeper announced their return in 2017. Fronted by singer-turned-novelist Louise Wener, the band had eight UK top 40 singles between '93-'97 including the breakthrough hit 'Inbetweener', accompanied by the classic supermarket promo video starring Dale Winton, and two top 10 singles with 'Sale Of The Century' and 'Nice Guy Eddie'. They also covered Blondie's 'Atomic' for the original Trainspotting film. As T2 hit cinema screens in 2017, Louise thought 'what do I do now?' and decided to reform the band.
