Lament: The Broken Heart
To complement Opera North’s new production of Purcell’s opera Dido and Aeneas, the awardwinning early-music choir, The Clothworkers’ Consort of Leeds, present haunting and beautiful Renaissance laments written for the great heroines of classical mythology – Ariadne, Penelope and Dido.
Although this event is free, booking is still required.
